DIY: Rustic Stencil Storage Chest

This DIY is fabulous and I’m definitely going to give it a go as soon as possible! It turns out to be really cheap but looking far from it. The drawers are TARVA, £125, IKEA. You can also get smaller versions if you like. My favourite thing about this chest is the fact that the boxes look as thought they were found on a cargo ship in the sea, weathered and well-used. When finished, this chest of drawers will look fantastic in any room; a sideboard in the dining room, a cutlery and crockery chest in a country kitchen or a chest of drawers in the bedroom. Versatile, timeless and a sure talking point.

And as usual, I’ve made sure that it is doable! This tutorial was made by Lipstick and White Tee. (Click here for the tutorial!)

You can find the typeface on Word, called Stencil, and you may have to go through a little trial and error to get the size you want. Add some lovely vases on the top and bingo, a unique and satisfying piece for your room.
